While deep learning is often portrayed as a silver bullet, capable of providing mission-ready systems for human language analysis and discovery, the story on the ground is far more nuanced. In this presentation we’ll look at both the benefits and the challenges of using deep learning for human language technology and the importance of a diversified, flexible, and contextually alert approach to integration and deployment.
